Clinical Director:

P&G (P&G Behavioral Health Services) is seeking a full-time Clinical Director to oversee and develop P&G Behavioral Health Services clinical departments through tasks such as hiring, evaluating, scheduling and supervision. This position is in-office. All P&G Staff are fully vaccinated and work in separate offices, wear masks, and practice social distancing.
The work schedule is: Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm.
P&G is contracted with the Department of Behavioral Health and Healthcare Finance. As directed, all new-hires must submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination, a 50-State FBI Background Check, and a Negative TB Test upon hire.
This is a Directors Level position with a starting salary of $90,000 per year.

Duties/Responsibilities

Supervise and oversee all aspects of the clinical department while fostering the agencies mission

Evaluate existing contract compliance, monitoring and reporting to ensure all clinical goals are being met

Project, develop, and monitor revenue and expense budgets for fee-for-service programs that includes private pay and Mental Health Carriers
-
Work effectively with Finance and Billing staff to develop an efficient billing system

Hiring, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, promotion, corrective action of paid and volunteer personnel (interns) within clinical departments

When applicable, carry a small caseload to ensure completion of departmental strategies and goals

Regularly review and recommend improvements in program services to meet client needs with particular emphasis on services for the mentally ill populations including monitoring consumer treatment plan updates
Required Skills/Abilities:

Three to five years of progressively responsible program management experience and staff supervision, including expertise transforming clinical staff into highly functioning teams

Proven experience understanding and demonstrated ability to generate revenues for clinical services

Experience with various billing systems

Experience working in crisis settings with individuals and families

Ability to work flexible hours

Program development, evaluation, solid organization skills, and strong public speaking skills

Proficiency in computer skills, especially using Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and customized databases

Commitment to maintain confidentiality

Understanding of the agencies mission and culture and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with staff and clients in all circumstances

Must have a current D.C. State License in one of the following: LICSW, Social worker or Licensed Professional Counselor

Experience with a Core Service Agency and/or medical facility desired.
