Community Support Workers
P&G (P&G Behavioral Health Services) is seeking an amazing Intake Specialist to help direct consumers to the services they need and support the Intake and HR department in reaching its organizational goals. This position is in-office. (All P&G Staff are fully vaccinated and work in separate offices, wear masks, and practice social distancing.)
The work schedule is: Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm.
P&G is contracted with the Department of Behavioral Health and Healthcare Finance. Under these contracts all new hires must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon hire. Additionally, candidates must pass a 50-State FBI Background Check and Negative TB Test as final determination for the position.
This is an entry-level position with the opportunity for advancement with a starting salary between $18 - 25 an hour.

Duties/Responsibilities

Coordinate Provider schedules and follow-up on prescriptions.

Back-up Intake Coordinator on incoming calls and appointment setting.

Audit and update Consumer demographic information in Credible & CRISP.

Research and identify community referral sources.
-
Make appointment confirmation calls.
-
Verify insurance and eligibility.
-
Assists with insurance applications.
-
Respond to medical records requests.
-
Submit project reports to department Directors.
-
Collect new-hire documentation.
-
Conduct monthly and new-hire compliancy verifications.

Arrange onboarding training.
-
Arrange monthly employee ongoing training.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Two or more years of scheduling and administrative experience combined.

Experience with a Core Service Agency and/or medical facility desired.
